The honed surface is what your piston rings ride on. Get the cross-hatch angle wrong, or run the stones at the wrong dwell time, and rings will not seat. The NCH-450 takes the guesswork out: the operator selects bore diameter and length, the machine sets stroke speed, dwell and stone pressure automatically.
Programmable cycles are stored on the controller — pick a saved engine profile and start.
